Bobby Heerasing
CEO / CUO
Bobby has been in the industry for 30 years and has previously worked for RSA, BP Amoco, Catlin, XL Catlin, ACR and Sirius Point – working in London, USA, Singapore & Sydney. Bulk of career with Catlin (1999-2016) before joining ACR in 2017, running both Re/Insurance As CUO for Catlin Asia Pacific, Bobby built a highly profitable business from an initial U$2m of GWP to U$600m prior to the merger of Catlin with XL (2015), - delivering CR of 90% consistently, accumulated earnings of U$400m (2002-2016) not including investment income. Bobby was most recently Head of International Distribution at Sirius Point / Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1945 (October 201 to March 2023). Bobby holds a BA Hons Economics from the Univ. of London, a Masters in Finance from Brunel University, Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
Sergei Korol
CFO
Sergei has been in insurance since 1998 when he joined AIG’s international business. He has held several impactful operational, finance and investment positions. He subsequently became a founding member of Chubb (then ACE) Life division as its APAC CFO, moving on to ACR in 2015 as Group CFO and COO. Expanded into tech having served as CFO of Gfin, fintech arm of Asian superapp Grab. As head of Capital Strategy for ALICO, a key AIG subsidiary, navigated it through the global financial crisis and was a key contributor to its $16 billion divestment to MetLife in 2010. At ACR, led a major financial and operational transformation and successful sale of the business to Catalina in March 2020. Holds a Master's of Arts degree from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. He is a CFA Charter holder.
Jason Smith
COO
Jason has been in the Re/Insurance Industry for over thirty years and has worked for Transatlantic Re, Catlin, XL Catlin, Leadenhall Asia, and Efiinty Asia, working in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Long tenure with Transatlantic Re London and Hong Kong, XLCatlin, now based in Hong Kong. Has a strong and broad underwriting and management expertise as a D&F Property Underwriter and a Treaty Reinsurance Underwriter both in London and Asia/ country head and regional underwriting leadership positions in Asia. Was CEO of Leadenhall Asia, a digital-first MGA and Executive Director of Efiinty Asia, a niche and Specialty Insurance platform service provider. He holds an MBA from Western Ontario, Richard Ivey Business School, and has a Chartered Insurer accreditation from Chartered Insurance Institute, UK As head of Capital Strategy for ALICO, a key AIG subsidiary, navigated it through the global financial crisis and was a key contributor to its $16 billion divestment to MetLife in 2010.
