PRISM bolsters leadership with senior hires as new MGA begins underwriting in Asia Pacific

Singapore, 23 December 2025

Prism, the recently launched managing general agent (MGA), today announces two key senior appointments as it commences underwriting operations in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Luca Ronsisvalle has joined as Head of Marine Cargo, and Jan von Kamp has been appointed Head of Energy, Power and Renewables.

Luca brings over 25 years of marine insurance expertise to the role. He joins from AXA XL, where he was most recently Head of Marine Cargo for South-East Asia. Luca has held senior underwriting and leadership positions in international marine markets, with deep knowledge across Cargo, War, and Marine Liability lines.

Jan has over 20 years of experience in the Energy sector and joins from Swiss Re Asia Ltd, where he served as Head – Property Facultative Southeast Asia and India. He previously held the position of Head, Energy, Facultative & Specialty at Asia Capital Re and senior energy underwriting roles with HDI Global in Singapore and Europe.

Both Luca Ronsisvalle and Jan von Kamp report directly to Bobby Heerasing, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Underwriting Officer of Prism.
