PRISM MGA Appoints Hui Zhi as Head of Political Violence, Terrorism and Political Risk

PRISM MGA, the tech-enabled specialty managing general agent (MGA) delivering innovative underwriting solutions across Asia-Pacific, today announced the appointment of Hui Zhi as Head of Violence, Terrorism (PVT), and Political Risk. In this role, Hui Zhi will lead the development and growth of PRISM MGA's PVT portfolio, bringing disciplined underwriting expertise and deep regional market insight to support brokers and clients in navigating complex geopolitical exposures.

Hui Zhi brings nearly two decades of specialized experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on PVT across Asia-Pacific. She began her career in Singapore through the Catlin Graduate Programme and progressed into senior underwriting roles at Catlin / XL Catlin, Zurich, and Markel. Throughout her career, she has built and managed profitable portfolios, earning recognition for her disciplined underwriting approach and strong commercial instincts.

Hui Zhi has developed an extensive network of brokers, clients, and distribution partners across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. She is widely regarded as a trusted partner in structuring complex PVT risk solutions for challenging and emerging exposures.

Hui Zhi holds a Bachelor of Business Management with double majors in Finance and Law from Singapore Management University (SMU). She remains actively engaged in the industry through participation in working groups and as a frequent speaker at regional events.
